The 16th Arlington Square Summer Fete was a delightful community gathering. Much fun was had, neighbours built bonds and funds were raised that will help make our neighbourhood a better place. Huge thanks to Jen for organising, and to everyone who donated and volunteered, without your generosity the fete would simply not happen. Also thanks to the local businesses who donated such great raffle prizes and to The Hanbury for generously donating beer and wine for our first ever bar and Quince Bakery for donating delicious cookies.

Thanks to financial support from Islington Council and sponsorship from estate agent, Cluttons most of the costs of staging the event were covered. Whilst the final sum raised has to be calculated, we will have made a healthy profit. In the coming week we will allocate the funds to 2 local good causes and to our work to make our neighbourhood greener and build a stronger community.
