The 15th Arlington Square Summer Fete was a delightful community gathering. Much fun was had, neighbours built bonds and funds were raised that will help make our neighbourhood a better place. Huge thanks to Nicky and Callahan for organising, and to everyone who donated and volunteered, without your generosity the fete would simply not happen. Also thanks to the local businesses who donated such great raffle prizes and Quince Bakery who were so kind in donating so many cakes and savouries.

Thanks to financial support from Islington Council and sponsorship from estate agent, Cluttons, all the costs of staging the fete were covered. Whilst the final total has to be calculated we will have made over £5,000 which is a record. In the coming weeks we will allocate the funds to 3 local good causes and to our work to make our neighbourhood greener.
